well, the Burb has been parked nose downward on an incline for about 3 weeks. just went out to fire it up, and it won't crank- turns over but no fire or fuel. i"m thinking no fire- but it has about 1/4 tank, could the pump somehow have lost it's prime if it wasn't submerged? any other ideas??

Prime the carb and try it

So it DOES crank then right? ???
Do you hear the fuel pump? Try a shot of starting fluid and see if it fires.
-
it does turn over- can't say that i've ever really noticed the pump make a noise like some do. i wasn't sure if starting fluid could be used with the injectors.

no fire, but you're thinking no fire?
That's an easy check. Ground a spark plug against the head and see if spark. Can you look into the throttle body and see any fuel when cranking?

Just to clarify some terminology:
If the engine cranks it means the starter motor cranks the engine.
So this should be described as the engine cranks (meaning it turns over) but won't run.
If you give it a shot of starting fluid and it starts you know your problem is fuel delivery. If it doesn't check for spark like sgtdel said.
