anyone every used textile leather in their interior? my brother just picked up a new motorcycle jacket and it looks real good. it got me thinking about doing my seats, panels and dash pad in textile leather. I was even thinking that I could get cool designs made in leather.

I used to be an upholsterer. I did a set of airplane seats in what im pretty sure was fabric right off the shelf at wal-mart. It was a fabric backed vinyl and at first i thought it wouldn't be strong enough and it was way too stretchy but in the end it was actually a pretty good fabric and im sure that motorcycle jacket leather would be much better than that stuff, though it can be very stiff so if you are going to match what you have panel for panel it might get tough, but if you keep it simple it should work great.
