Title: Rear springs for a stepside 2WD.
Post by: 327power on November 05, 2009, 06:51:02 am
Hi, what was the length of the rear leafs for a 2WD shortbox stepside? 52" or 56"? I need to order new ones. I'd go out and measure them, but I have 2 months til' I go home. (Deployed to Iraq) I know that there are 4 leafs. The model year is 1981. It's a six cylinder and 3 speed.
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

If the truck is being watched while your away, have someone measure it.

Come back safe bro, I went twice.

it depends on the suspension package, it could be either.  Only way to know for sure it to measure them.
