Title: Dash Frame
Post by: 87OldYeller on November 06, 2009, 07:45:25 pm
Can yo remove the dash frame with out the windshield being removed? It looks as if the lip of the dash goes under the seal? I am thinking about taking on this project this weekend. Any tips? Suggestions?

For those looking for this info, the answer is no you cannot remove it without taking the glass out.

once you take the glass out there are a whole bunch of spot welds that hold it on place then on the side is 1 or 2 bolt on the side
just for a little more info

looking to repaint the inside of the cab, but i want to get everything painted not just the surface. when i had it painted bout a year ago they did not do anything under the dash floor board or back of the cab behind the seat. Grant it all of this is covered, but i want it done my way this time. I know it does not match and it just eats at me. I am gonna go pick up a Jeep to drive, and start on my truck plan to pull the front clip and cab soon.
