Ok so the number on my cylinder head is 333882. Can someone tell me what these would originally be off of and the displacement? Also if these heads were any good or useless?
Thanks

According to www.mortec.com (http://www.mortec.com/castnum.htm):
333882.....74-80...350/400......76cc chambers
They are junk on a performance engine and reportedly achieve less mpg on a stock engine, due to a poor chamber design.

the 882 heads were prone to cracking with the slightest overheating due to weak casting. They have a good flow, but, good luck getting them to last. I remember reading on one of those chevy engine rebuild books by David Vizard or something about the types of cylinder heads and which one to stay away from. The 882 is one to stay away from.
