Title: Welding in filler plates
Post by: CeeTen on November 10, 2009, 09:44:53 pm
Worked on the 86 today, tacked in the marker light fillers and stake pocket fillers. Do i need to make sure there is a continuous bead around them? Right now they are tacked every 3/8ths or so. Would be nice to just shoot epoxy and spread filler without tacking them the rest of the way in.
Thanks,
Brian

I would fully weld too. You run the risk of cracks in the paint in you dont.

Make sure not to over heat the metal
