Title: Jeep enthusiast who has seen the light...
Post by: uglyjeep on November 15, 2009, 11:41:36 pm: Well, as the title indicates my main interest has been in the Jeep brand name. Not the Chrysler-era stuff, but earlier AMC, Kaiser, and Willys jeeps. In actuality my new Chevy was going to be a drivetrain donor for my 75 Cherokee (now an abandoned project). I realized that the 78 k30 crew cab dually was in better shape and would take less work to get going with the 6.2 diesel I have sitting in my shop. My plans now include a set of military hummer rims and 37s, the 6.2 diesel, a modified m105 (military trailer) bed, and some miscellaneous CUCV parts (I wonder how I'll paint it ;) ).

Anyhow, hello from the high desert of Southern California!
