My cousin goes every year and it seems I always get sick and have missed them every time! Last time they came out and the guitarist pulled my cousin out of the audience brought her up on stage and gave her his guitar in honor of her brother who passed away at 1 1/2 years old. That was VERY classy and a memory she'll never forget.

Never heard of them touring with Metallica, maybe? The Lead Guitar, and bass player play together in a heavy metal band the rest of the year. I can't think of the name of it though. One of the female singers is from Manchester New Hapshire. Half way through the lead guitarist introduces the whole cast. He came out on stage wearing a Patriots / Brady jersey. First thing he said was " Thanks for coming out tonight, I know, your missing the game! I don't have a score but if I get one I will pass it on to you. " After the introduction were done he gave the score. Thought that was pretty cool.

sounds like a pretty personal band.. cool..
I just found out they are playing in Calgary tonight (how weird is that?), but I am too late to get tickets, oh well, next time (do they tour once a year?). At least I have GnR and Sebastian Bach to go to in Jan....   :)

My wife and I have seen them every year since 1998. They put on an amazing show every year. Chris Caffery is one of the lead singers and original with the band. Alex Skolnick is also an original member and guitarist.  Most of the band lives in NYC.  The founder is Paul O'Neil.  He produced many tours in the Eighties Like Madonna,Phil Collins, Mega Death and others.
This year we took our 7 and 9 year olds to the show. They had a great time! My son goes to sleep listening to them everynight.
I would definitely recommend seeing them if you get a chance. Worth every penny. And they donate $1 from every ticket sale to a local charity in every city they stop in.
