A 15X8 rim. The ones I have on now I like alot. The tires I am looking at are BF Mud Terrains 33X12.5. They suggest an 8.5 rim. What do you guys think????????
-
I would put them on 15x10
-
8.5 - 11 is there recommended range. Going above or below those will greatly enhance your ability to blow beads. I would try to find a 15x10 as vile suggested.
-
I have 33x12.5 on 15x10 and I think its the best fit and best looking. Its not too wide or narrow.
-
I have put 12.50's on 15x8's before for offroad reasons.

x2

I had some 35x12.50 on a 8 inch rim. The 10 inch looked too wide for my liking.
-
Does somebody have a pic of a 35X12.5 on an 8inch rim
-
yup,
the ones in the stack are on 8s

Heres a straight on shot, however they look quite narrow compared to the 14.5 irocs on 10 inch rims :o

they look ok, but personaly there is too much sidewall bulge. i have noticed that the 12.5 don't actually measure out. they are actually more along 10".
-
Too skinny lookin and too buldgy...
-
What size lifts do you have in your trucks captain carnage
-
A 4 inch susp. in mine on the left, and a 4 inch susp., with a 3 inch body on my bros.
-
we run 33/1250 15" goodyear mtr's on 8" wide rims, the 8" rims fit on the truck better and keep the tires inside the wheel wells. it also allows clearance for these tires. the 10" wide rims would require lifting the front of our truck( have a 2 1/2" spring lift in rear).
-
I run the stock rally wheels for clearance also. 33x12.50 on 15x8's
-
Are you guys having to cut your fenders with the 4 inch lift and 35's?
-
yup,

How much did you have to cut your fenders
-
just my 2 cents im runnin 35/12.50/15 on a 8 inch rim with a stock ride hieght. the tires are about half tread and dont rub im not sure of backspacing but they do sit flush with the fenders and bedsides my truck is a 1984 k10 4x4 swb built in canada and i didnt have to cut anything and i have around 8 inches between the top of my fender an tire an about 2 inches on the sides
-
Well I had to cut a fair bit. I originally had them cut to run 33x12.5s with no lift, then I put on the 4 inch and 35s and they needed to be cut considerably more, but I do wheel my truck fairly hard, and it flexes very well for what it is.
