Bought the truck with a bad 350. It was originally a 6.2L Diesel I've owned the truck 5 years (never driven it).
Been buying a few parts and parts trucks when they are cheap / Swapping out body pannels
Swapped in a fresh built Caddy 500 in 2007
Ran into issues cleaning up the swap install details.
Pushed it around back for 2 years.
Brought back out front and began to finish buttoning up the big block Caddy swap.

Great looking stance, love it!
-
Thanks!
I've got lots of questions about the 4wd supension lift.
Mine is currently stock with only a front add-a-leaf and a 3" Body lift.
I've got a 6" SuperLift kit with front and rear springs + shocks + front braided brake lines.
Hoping to loose the body lift and add the suspension lift, but not sure how a one size fits all 6" kit is gonna like my big wooly mammoth of a truck.

Awesome! Love the 3+3's!
That front clip looks sharp!

Great job. Nice looking truck.

I've got a 800 cfm Q-jet prepped by The Carb Shop. http://www.customcarbs.com/carbshopcatalogQjet.htm
Blue Printed (Stage 2 build), new shaft bushings, improved idle circuit, flow bench tested, with a fresh dichromate coating.

Working in the dark sux... Slow progress ~ but atleast it is progress.
Oddly enough since i pulled this project back out we have had record rain fall for the month.
Finishing up the oil pan / dip stick / dip stick tube (Big ordeal on the Big Block Caddy).
Tonight ~ checking clearance for the rotating assembly / dip stick and then buttoning up the oil pan.

Truck is coming out very nice. Like to see it done. Hope the rain stops for you. Good luck with your project.

You'll have to let us know how that carb works out, Carb Shop does good work. What was the price on that carb?
I might get one of those if I can't get my 92's TBI sorted out before spring, Frigin' Butchers that put it together.

Is that a 3500?
If it is somebody stole your Dana60.
-
:D Maybe ~ Not sure how to verify weather it is or is not a V3500 or what the options were.
It had commercial chassis documentation on the original door.
Of course I want the 60. But in reality it is just a hot rod tow rig for the boat and other 4wds.
