First off a little back ground. Its an 02 5.3 going in an 84 c10. I got it today and it has some stuff missing. Just trying to get loose ends tied up. Im a newb to ls engines so please be patient with me. and thanks in advance for any help.
First off, what sensor is this (cam/crank maybe?) and what goes in the hole next to it?

Second, im guessing this is a coolant crossover for part of the EGR (wont be running egr) where do i need to redirect it to? or can i just cap it?

Third, what is this?

Fourth, what are these bolt holes above the manifolds for?

Wanted to buy posts must go in the classifieds section.
1) oil pressure sender
2) throttle body is heated with coolant not for EGR
3) Third, what is this?
A dark picture of something. How about a better pic?
4) Just an assumption but for different exhaust manifolds for different applications.

that still doesnt answer my question.

I took the best picstures i could. It is a block that has one hole in the top and it is directly above the oil filter.

I have taken the best pics possible with the resources i have. i will be asking many more question about this swap, and i seriously hope this doesnt turn negative (which i forsee)

What do you mean turn negative?
That thing above the oil filter is like a manifold that can be drilled and tapped for a pressurized oil location. People sometimes use them for pre-oilers, turbos, presure sender, etc. Is it already drilled through? If it is, you need to use it or plug it.
I think the empty hole in pic #1 is for a cam position sensor...i think.

i dont think its drilled through. it has some debri i need to cleen out of it. that would be awesome if it was for a pressurized oil spot. would work out perfect for my plans.

Yeah, I think that thing around the oil filter area is a oil relocation type deal or something like that. I've heard of guys drilling and tapping them for their oil pressure sensor.

I'd be gettin a GM manual and start readin up.

First, The missing hole is the Cam sensor.
Third, that is the oil passage plug. We use those for feeding oil to the Turbos.
If it turns negative, it would mean you are causing it. If we can't see what it is asking for a better pic is just that.
Chill out we are trying to help.

Here is a little off topic question. what company if there is one makes a engine plate/mount to put the ls engine in the same location as my current 350 so i can run my 700r4 in its stock location. i really dont want to have to mod or move the cross member to get it to bolt up properly to the motor.
and sorry for over reacting. i need to work on that.

I got mine from Street and Performance. I can probably build you some if you like also. Just got to check with my machinist.

i will give s&p a call tomm. if not could you get me a price on them.

$88 how soon will you need them as he is going slow productivity on small stuff at the end of the year to get the big stuff out of the way for year end inventory.
