Title: Header and Clutch Linkage Modification
Post by: adams18 on December 10, 2009, 08:17:54 pm
I'm in the process of putting a 4 spd. in my originally automatic 1978 K10. It has a sb350 with Hedman shorty headers. The donor has the stock manifolds, but id hate to go back to the manifolds. I have everything bolted in except the support for the z-bar that bolts to the tranny. The tranny z-bar arm hits the collector. I need at least an inch more clearance for the z-bar arm to pass the collector and collector flange. Any ideas on how to modify the z-bar arm or header for the clearance i need? Thanks
