Title: 40 gallon suburban tank in 84 K20

I want to put a bigger tank in my K20. First of all is it possible to do this with minimal tool, and how exposed would the tank be to obstructions on the ground. It seems like it will hang sort of low and be very vulnerable to things like stumps and large rocks when I go trail riding. Any information or alternatives would be appreciated. I have a 25 gallon Blazer/Sub. tank under mine, with a K20 the passenger side shock is going to be in the way and will have to be moved, I have plenty of clearance with mine and I'm not sure how much deeper a 40 is than a 25.

  My truck has a 40 gallon tank in it. It runs a 6" lift with 35"s so clearance is not a problem.
  Like 1HI4x4 said the shocks can be a problem. A grade 8 bolt welded to the spring plate will solve this issue. It also allowed me to run a shock from a 4" lift with my 6" springs (just trying to use up spare parts).
 The tank can be an eyesore from the rear depending on how well your bumper covers it up. My truck has a rollpan and a trailer hitch that helps hide the tank.
