Buddy of mine in college station TX. picked up this sweet one owner 77 longbed with a bad engine but otherwise clean, He had another engine ready for it but doesn't think its worth the money to fix it So he's got it up for sale. I'm thinking about flying down one week and installing a engine and driving it back to VA. Anyone think it would be a bad deal?

Geez that thing is clean.I say throw a good 350 in it and take it home.Heck for 450.00 thats a heck of a score being all original...GO FOR IT!!!!!

Well missed it, guy offered him $50 more than his asking price.lol I didn't really have time to go get it anyway
and I wasn't gonna ask my buddy to hold it, if someone came along, let em have it .
