Man I love a new windshield, had to replace mine cause it had a bad crack on the pass side that cause me to fail inspection, guess they missed the large holes in the floors and the sticking parking brake cables, but no complaints, got the new on installed today and man its like driving with nothing installed.. so clear .. went to get reinspected and got my sticker so now she's all legal.

I need to get windshileds for 2 of my trucks, The 84 3/4 and the 85 K10. How much did it cost you? There is a discount guy here in town that advertises on Craigslist. He said he could get me fixed up for $130 each in my driveway. Not sure if that included a new window rubber seal or not. I would hope so.
-
I highly doubt that includes a new seal.

I'm with Vile. It doesn't include seal. Most times your seal can be reused if you are on a tight budget. The $130 quote seems right for just the glass and labor. I had mine done a few years ago. The first thing I tell them is I am paying cash out of my pocket....that makes a big difference. If it was an insurance claim, they would bill them triple that price. If you tell them cash and you are shopping around for lowest price, it is amazing how much cheaper it becomes.

194 with a new gasket, installer tried to talk me into reuseing my old one cause it was in good shape, bu ti said nope, install the new one. He was hating it, took him about 1 1/2 hours to get the gasket in and then another 30 min to get the new glass in, but its nice and snug.

just in time for the snow! You guys out in western Goochland and Louisa counties are gettin' about 18-22" of snow tonight and tomorrow.

6 inches so far since 5 o'clock

All the glass guys throw a fit when you have new seals because they're a pita.

Yea he earned his pay on this one. I was gonna have him put it in with urethane, but I need to paint the truck so I let him install it without so I can pull it back out when I go to repaint. 12 inches at 6o"clock this morning calling for 9 more today.
