Well, the A.I.R. pump is going out on my C20, and I'd like to get rid of it altogether. Before anyone complains, the truck was never factory equipped with a cat (and still doesn't have one), and is emissions exempt. With that out of the way, I'm faced with a dilemma: The A.I.R. pump serves as the tensioner for the power steering pump. My truck doesn't have A/C, so its only a 2 belt system. Has anyone done this on a 292 (Not sure if the 292 and 250 have the same accessory drive). Has anyone converted to a serpentine system altogether? I have the pipes out and the ports plugged on the head, so the hard part is done.
I'm thinking about going with a 4bbl intake manifold and a header in the future, so the less clutter under the hood, the better.

More power to ya. Sorry I can't post any info, but GET it off quick! I had my g/fs camaro at school on day on the dyno, and I knew it was going out. Long story short, it locked up the motor immediately. Don't want you stranded in the middle of nowhere
