Title: 76 door panels into a 77
Post by: FritzA on December 28, 2009, 12:56:14 pm
I have a 77 and I have a line on some 76 door panels that are really nice and the right color.

I know they made a change in 77 to a square bottom at the front bottom. The 73-76 panels had a rounded front bottom.

How do you think the older panels would look/fit in a 77? Would it not match up to the metal at all?

Thanks?

You'd have to weld up all the holes and smooth it all out which could be done but to me those door panels would have to be MINT

While on the subject though, you can put the later style mirrors on the 76 panel, right?????I want to get rid of my tripod mirrors and put the newer style on.

I don't see what the door panels have to do with mirrors?  ???
