Title: LWB vs SWB Bed
Post by: Josh454 on December 28, 2009, 01:29:32 pm
Hi all,

Just wanting to confirm on the sheetmetal portion. Looking at the pics, it looks as though the LWB bed is longer both BEFORE and AFTER the tires?

The frame looks like the easy part...   :)

Vile didn't convert the bed, he built a SWB bed from parts.

If you are intending to take a long bed and make it a short bed, it will be alot harder than the frame cuts. I would seriously be looking for a bed that was born a short bed.

Yeah good point.  The more I thought about ruining a completely rust free longbed, the more I thought it would be wise to put that money towards a short bed.

Thanks all for the guidance!!
