Post by: levisjohnson on December 30, 2009, 05:45:25 am
I have looked on the site and searched the internet and can not find what I am looking for.

I would like to know what weight engine oil you would run.
-88 6.2L Diesel 3+3 3/4 ton TH400 all stock

Driving conditions:
-will be daily driver
-drive an hour each way to work on Interstate
-warm humid Florida

I was thinking 10W-40?

Thanks for you help everyone.

If your in a bind, 10w40 will work, but its way better to pay the extra $$ and get 15w40

I really don't know why I asked.  I grew up on af arm and we had several diesel farm trucks.  I guess it just slipped my mind.
