Engine is 4.3 v6 .30 over, heads, and will have a holley 600 by next week.....I was curious would it be ok to run duals? I do want it to be pretty quiet, as loud v6's sound like.......Really just asking what type/brand of muffler or muffler you guys would suggest? Just any guidance on the whether to go true dual, an xpipe or what?

with a v6 if you run duals keep it 2" or less i would just go with a singe 3" pipe, muffler not sure then if you want i would split if into duals after the muffler.

With that Setup, as long as you run an X if you're 2wd, or atleast an H-pipe if you're 4wd(Transfer Case will make running a Properly Placed X an issue), then you would be fine with stepping up to a true dual 2.25" system(Might be able to sneak 2.5", but I wouldn't go larger)... Headers will also allow it to exhale easier....

yea Im 2wd I was definetely going to run an xpipe if I did got dual

I worked on a Jeep a while back that had a Vortec 4.3L with headers, true duals into borla stainless mufflers. It sounded pretty good. It was quiet, but it woke up when you stepped on it(but still not obnoxious).

you don't need anything larger than a single 2 1/2 system.. and don't run duals they sound like butt on a v6.

Gave a really nice increase in power without being obnoxiously loud.
