So Im thinking of using a set of thesehttp://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G9006/Application/?query=Year%7c1987%7cMake%7cCHEVROLET%7cModel%7cR10+PICKUP%7cEngine+Size%7c5.7L%2f350 (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G9006/Application/?query=Year%7c1987%7cMake%7cCHEVROLET%7cModel%7cR10+PICKUP%7cEngine+Size%7c5.7L%2f350) for my 87 R10 w/ 5.7 350. It has a/c and an automatic tranny. What all will I need to make this work? Is this a good set for my app? Do I need the bracket for the alternator or the compressor??
Thanks in advance.

For long term, I think you will be disappointed by those. For most headers you need to fab a bracket for the alternator mount.

Quality ceramic coated headers are worth it if you want them to still look good and not leak two years down the road.

ahhh... it is def. a long term replacement. I plan on keeping this truck for a while. So, Should I just stick with my stock ones till I get the money to do it right? which ones would you guys recomend for our trucks?
