National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, "black or African-American."

Shouldn't that be Nat'l Assoc for the Advancement of African Americans? NAACP should = NAAAA  I thought "colored people" was outdated too.

Just saying.  What do i know, I'm just a European American.

what i always thought of as being weird is that there is a channel called BET or black entertainment television!  what if there was a WET or white entertainment television....oh no!  lol  there is somewhat of a double standard there no?

You're right there certainly is! It's pretty sad that people are still pulling that racial card over a word.  ::)

I just put a "3" on it and leave it there. That's all they're Constitutionally allowed to ask anyway.

Not that they don't already stretch that poor document way outta shape anyway.

I dont fill that part out. If race doesnt matter in todays society, then why ask? I havent filled out any questionare that asks that in over 15 years. Theres only one race in my book, thats the human race. Color, religion, where you come from, doesnt matter, we are all part of the human race, leave it at that.

I agree 100%. They might as well ask eye color.. it doesn't matter.
