thanks, yep if the frame had a bolt in it it came out. i sandblasted every piece, big or little. i did the donor core support the same way. my front fenders are at the body mans shop getting all prettied up. next i will install the flush mount fuel cell in the rear using the directions on the website. then i will install brake lines and the BG400 pump and lines. the fuel system is going to be the hardest part for me, figuring out what fittings i need to buy. i will more and likely go with electric vacuum brakes since i am using such a large cam, it will not pull enough vacuum off the engine to run them. i am fixing to order the front suspension travel limiter so my lowering springs will stay put and also transfer weight to the rear end. then order my cab bushings. The frame will go outside and move the cab and bed in for there body work. hopefully by then the engine will be ready so i cant install the motor, trans, and exhaust so i can get a measurement for the drive shaft. going to go with 1350 series u joints for strength.

How's she run in the 1/4?

before the rebuild, i had a 350 bored .60 with ported stock casting heads and 2.02 valves, victor jr. intake and a 750 double pumper, 200 shot of nitrous, 3500-3800 TCI stall converter, 4.10 gears, and 26x10x15 M/T slicks, it went 7.39 in the 1/8th and 11.99 in the 1/4 mile. hopefully with the new setup it will go 6.?? in the 1/8 and then i have a 250 shot NOS fogger system i will turn on and will probably get kick off the track until i cage it ;D

If you get kicked off the track and have to park it you can send that stepside bed by way, I'll put it to good use.
Thats a killer truck you have, 11.99 is moving. Good luck with your new set up.
Keep us posted.

i have no idea on the weight, it was a full interior truck with nothing missing but the spare tire. i never got to weigh it, but i would like to know what these trucks weighted from the factory.

well its been a while since i last posted, but i have been working hard to get stuff done. i got the chassis done and back to a roller, and i am waiting on the body parts to be cut in and painted on the back side. i am going to get all the parts painted on the back side of them and reinstall all the fenders, cab, and hood. i want to paint the outside of the truck with it together so i don't scratch anything. will post up some pics.

That is one sweet truck, not too many 73's that you see are that clean.  Very nice job on your rebuild.
