Its been so long not sure if this is the place we went back in 95 if it is they expanded greatly. The German craftsmanship is second to none. One museum (if their is a pic of it , it would not be suitable here :) ) has this wax model of this guys wife she went missing and when the police showed up they thought it was a real body till the M.E showed up lol

That's neat.  I still don't understand how the cars are guided though.  Is there a magnet under the surface or are they like remote controlled by the computer they mentioned?

I'm guessing there is a very small slot on the road and each vehicle has a tiny stem or something protruding underneath it that follows the slot and it may be guided by a chain underneath the table.  just a guess
