How low is your truck? I'm not gonna lie, mine have some road rash on em lol but what I did was had them re-coated after I (burnished) them in  ;)

I would suggest these (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PTE-H8013-1/?rtype=10)

They should fit, lots of different headers fit our trucks. If there are clearance issues summit will take them back.

Ive been looking for the same thing for my choptop. It only has the 3 inch spindles on it now, but not sure if the longtubes would clear. Sanderson makes a nice set of shortys for our trucks as well, but are a bit more money. I just want to buy one set, the right set, the first time. Thats all I need right now to drop my 427 in.

I'd accept a little road rash on the headers before I gave up power to shorties.  Unless the truck is very low and there is no choice.  I guess it also depends on what kind of power you are shooting for, so maybe shorties aren't such a sin in many cases.

power loss is at best minimal, from my experience full length vs shorties, power loss yes but marginal... large tube large collector shortie headers will do just fine for me.. thanx guys, always figured  "A" bodied car headers would work but was not a 100%

Yea I'll tell you though nothings draws attention worse than dragging home an exhaust underneath you're truck....
