Title: Tailgate Extenders

Has anyone successfully been able to install a tailgate extender on their 73-87? The type that you are able to easily remove and fold out and in? I'd love to get one since I have a shortbed and when hauling a few dirtbikes and gear, having the tailgate down isn't convincing. These work very nicely on newer trucks. I'm sure I could fab something of my own up as well but was curious if anyone actually bought and successfully uses one?
