Post by: icecold on February 02, 2010, 05:45:41 pm
Running 39.5 trxus sts's, Took off the tranny crossmember drop don't need it. New Grille Setup up. Last picture is the chevy grille. Everything was lowered to meet height laws, i fixed all that cuz height laws here are not bad.

Never been off road with it yet. Traded a motorcycle for it and have been fixing stuff on it. Redid the motor, it was a stock motor when i got it. Change it over to the holly carb, new intake, change the running accesories, body is just about perfect, custom fenders so it would clear 44's the guy owes the shop that makes these fenders. Going to get some long tube headers and thrush welded mufflers put on next week or the week after. Then it will be a nice street truck lol. If i keep it i will be putting a 14 bolt in the back and running 4.56 gears front and back, or i will sell it lol.

Needs wider and larger wheels to get rid of the balloon effect, and to be a true street pimper.

Long tube headers are being bought friday, then getting thrush welded mufflers and running the pipes out the each side infront of the tires. I like lots of tire. Need to get some rims there are silver or machined aluminum and i will be done lol.

More pics of the fenders?!

Super nice looking truck.  The fenders were the first thing I noticed, they look really nice

those fenders look sweet! Where can I get a set of those pre-trimmed fenders? does the guy that made yours, make for other people? I've tried to trim fenders on several 73-87 4x4's and mine always turn out crappy. i'm not a body guy. (73-80 fenders, old school round headlights)

It is a guy in virginia that cuts are re-welds the fenders to have the factory flare to them. It is a place called squiddys body shop, he was making a set for another truck he was building.

No front driveshaft right now, i have to rear gear the front and back to match so i leave it out incase some one else drives it and puts it in 4WD. The 31's are my friends, i use them when i need the truck lower to work on it. 39.5x15 is what i am keeping up there. It rides good with the 39.5's

Ok, that makes sense. My 85 K10 is a pain to work on, but I wouldnt change it. The 39.5s will be nice.
