you can find and make your own cheaper than that one you found i think in flamin on here has made one along with others but his i can remember right off hand

Those are expensive, but it comes with the gauges. You can order it without them as well. I saw them at the Goodguys car show and I would not spend the money on them. The plastic is really really thin.
I also personally think that adding aftermarket gauges to a stock brushed aluminum bezel as well as the Dakota Digital setup look better.

I really don't like the look of the digital one at all, too cold and lifeless. I was thinking if you had the skills and tools, you could just buy a blank sheet of aluminum and make your own.

The Covan you listed above is junk in my opinion for the exact reasons beastie_3 posted. They have come up a lot on the forum.
I would suggest building your own like the links mrboyy17 posted.
