Title: Leaf spring length?
Post by: K20Wulf on February 09, 2010, 07:02:27 pm
Does anyone know what the stock spring length on a 86 3/4 ton long bed is (front & rear)? It has a 4" lift on it and I'm not sure if the springs on it now are longer or not. My basis for this question is; I was told I could put 52" springs up front and get 5 to 6" of lift. Also I want to do a shackle flip in the rear, but have no idea what length springs I have. Any help would be great. :)

52/56" in the back...check with tape measure. And fronts should be 48" I do believe. And yes there is a kit to put 52's on the front, and it would actually net you approx 3.5-4" of lift. Combine that with a shackle flip in the rear, and you should sit fairly level.
