Title: 85 c10. what are the best fitting long tubes for a 6.0 swap?
Post by: SatisTraction on February 10, 2010, 09:34:09 pm
I have searched and read for a week. some use the pace setters for the f body, some have tried doug thorley headers, some do the s&p headers.

I want the best fitting long tubes that i can get. I prefer some 1 7/8" primaries but 1 3/4" would work.

what headers did you use and with which engine mounts.

will truck headers fit?

thanks

BRP supposedly makes Long Tubes for the 73-87's.  I have heard of fitment issues with the F-body ones.
Doug Thorley doesn't make a set for these trucks in long tubes yet.  I am a dealer for them and they know I am looking for them.  S&P only make block hugger style headers.
