Dose anybody know for sure if the 1978 K-10 trucks, that came with the 350 had cats or not?

half ton should, yes, unless it has F44 option listed on ther SPID label in glovebox., otherwise should have cats, unless have been removed.

engine label underhood wil say catylst or something similar if is cat'd, that is the emissions label and purpose of it is to show what emissions the vehicle originally was fitted with,

good luck

I HATE cats.  They are cute when they are kittens, but I have no use for a cat!!!
