Title: Ultra rare factory Tach gauge set?????
Post by: 79k30guy on February 12, 2010, 11:09:49 pm: Tell me whos seen this set before?? My dad has a 74 K20 with Cheyenne trim (wood grain) with a factory Tach, but on his the fuel gauge is the small gauge bottom left, on this set if you can see it.. the bottom left is a VAC gauge, and the fuel is in the tach gauge... ??? never seen it before. anyone?

They had two styles of vacuum pumps for the diesels. One was a belt driven pump the other driven off of the cam.

Post by: Captkaos on February 17, 2010, 04:29:33 pm: those are generally harder to find than the normal tach versions, question is, does it work? Those only came in 3/4T and 1T trucks.
