Just wondering how the lights are supposed to light for high and low beam.
What I mean is, for each what lights should be on? I am asking since they are hosed up, assuming they are connected wrong possibly from a grille swap.
Thanks...

Tops are high beams, lows are low beams, you can however rig it so that you're low beams will turn on along with your high beams. I think that answers your question.

That does for the most part... confuses me WTH my lights are doing.
I would be interested in the mod you are talking about to have all of them on with the high-beams on- gotta link or procedure?
Thanks again!

I don't know how to put links in here, I can tell you I bought the relay kit from summit for 17 bucks to do it. There is a wiring diagram on 73-87.com that explains it though under garage.

All 4 come on w high beams

ive had 2 87's and both I remember the top lights were low and when high selected all 4 come on. Both 87's I converted to 90. Dont waste your money buying a summit brand kit.. grab a set of relays and do it yourself. Its better to have your headlights on a relay anyway (instead of using the headlight switch). You should notice a difference in output and when you use accessories too.
