Oh by the way their 285/70r15 has anyone heard of this size or know were to get um
-
Nope, that's a rare one. 31x10.5R15 is a fairly close size, but you're mostly gonna run into highway and all-terrain tires in that size. Certainly nothing like the BFG Radial T/A's.
265/70R15 is also a fairly common one, but you give up 1" in tire height and 0.75" in width.

Mine are 255 70's for my 86 which are the BFG's
-
275/60s
-
bfg doesn't make this size any more.I can still get this size throw coker, but their called a bfg sivlertown and no more white lettering :'(

I like the 255 70 15 BFG. I had a set on a 74 long bed. Nice combo of height and width. I wasn't even aware BFG ever had a 285 70 but they look good in the pic.

I have 275 60 15 rears on my 67 but it's lowered about 5".

firestone firehawks have a pretty good size selection and are a solid white letter tire. 1010tires has a good tire size calculator to help you compare sizes if you can't find what you are looking for

They come out to be about 30 1/2 by 11 1/2
