well its something new to me, cuz i really haven't study the transmissions conversions. i may be buying a electric 700-R4, but the thing is my truck which is a 73 c10 is with the original 350 block and 350 turbo transmission with a manual choke carburetor . is there a way to convert the 700-R4 electrical to a manual?? or can a convert the block to a electrical to connect the transmission??? ???

I'm not really sure what you are asking? The only thing electronically actuated in the 700R4 is the TCC solenoid. the electronic version of the 700R4 is a 4L60E
-
If you get a 700R4(4L60), as vile said the TCC is the only electronic part. This would be any 700R4 from 82-92
4l60E (electronic 700R4) started in 1993.
All you need for a pre 1993 700R4 is a switch to lock the Torque converter.

I have to add my 2 cents but the 4l60 u need the ecm the pre 93 like chris said
-
4L60 doesn't need an ECM only the 4L60E.
