Title: Brake lights dont work?

Hey everyone! This is my first post but I have been here doing lots of reading. I did do a search and nothing seemed to pinpoint my exact problem. I have a 1981 short bed c-10 auto with a 454 motor. Every light on my truck works. Headlights tails blinkers back up, everything except the brake lights. The switch is new and I cant find any bad grounds that I know of. Must be behind the dash or in the steering column or something. Any help as far as a starting point would be great before I tear my dash apart. Thanks!

Is the ground there in the rear harness?

Oh is it the one thats in the left side tail light housing? If so it is hooked up.

Just kidding! Seems like back up lights arent coming on either. Sorry!
