Title: Another Offset / Backspacing Question
Post by: LUV2XCLR8 on February 26, 2010, 04:53:08 pm
I'm picking up a set of 20 x 9.5 wheels tomorrow for my 81 Blazer

The PO measured them at around 6.0" BS, Website spec is 5.64"

I know they will be close all the way around but is anyone using
wheels with around 5.5-5.75? Do they rub at all? (Turning L / R)

Linked below is what they look like on a Chevy. (Not my truck, lol)

Silverado w/ 6 Bar Version Linky (http://www.pantherwheel.com/Rides/023.htm) (Ones I snagged are 5 Bar Version)

PS - I'm getting them for a good price so I can work around issues

You should be fine.  I think Travis is using 5 or 5.5 and so is N2TRUX.

Travis said his 5.0 and 4.5, but his fronts are 8.0, rears 10.0

Ken has 5.5 on both, but his fronts are 8.5, rears 9.5

(Going to test fit before buying tires, lol)

I have 17x8.5's with 5.25" BS.  I think the biggest ? is the inner fender.
Definitely test fit them.

Can't pass them up for the price, so I might need a thin spacer, lol

Those look nice!  I expect you will get us a better pic when they are on there.

Well they are on there, but the front's are tight, going to add 1/4" spacers.

As for a pic, I bumped my other thread back ttt in the other section.
