Have you guys ever heard of a Tamiya Clodbuster? It's awesome. 87 K10 body on a giant 4x4x4 chassis. Google it. It's quite cool. 4-wheel steering, two motors. It's been around since the 80's when that body was new  lol

EDIT: I see on that link to Jeff's page, there's a pic of a 'Clod'. Those other bodies are really cool!

I used to race the 1/10th scale gas and truggy classes a few years back. Traveled all over the place to race them, but alot of local tracks closed down so I would have to drive about 3 hours just to practice.

I loved it when we had the local tracks but that is a thing of the past.

I had a Clodbuster when they first came out around 1988 IIRC.

The guys that owned the monster truck "Bearfoot III" are friends of mine. The Clodbuster looked just like the Bearfoot III truck, so I painted my Clod to match.

I'll see if I can find the pics of it. I'll have to scan them, but it will be worth the trip down memory lane. :)

Well here is my Clod......

Built this truck sometime in 1988.

Bustin' clods in Daytona Beach FL:

Goin for a swim.....And yes, it really was floating. You could drive it in the pool, but I don't have pics of that.

Salt water really wasn't good for this truck's bearings.  ;D

I've always wondered how you guys drive these things if you're not sitting in them----i would and have found it to be disorienting.  i think i had tried it once a an amusment park or shopping mall or something.

Has anyone tried putting a camera inside and driving it by looking at a screen?
