Title: K20 to K10 trans swap

Wanting to swap trans and transfer case from 3/4 ton truck to half ton truck. This is the manual trans.

Can i do this, or are there different gear ratios, etc....that will affect speedometer, etc.

Ratios are determined by the speedo gears which are set to the original trucks trans and gear ratio.
As far as swapping them out you will have not HUGE issues.

other things to look at are spline counts for the drive shaft but most of all a new drive shaft if yours is a standard bed and the 3/4 is a standard bed then your alright but if your is a standard and the other is a long then you might have a custom shaft or find one to fit
