Title: Alternator brackets
Post by: beastie_3 on March 08, 2010, 12:24:30 pm
I found a set of alternator brackets for a good price on ebay. You can find them here... http://stores.ebay.com/whiteperformance1 I only paid 35 with shipping.

Looks good. How was the quality? I got a kit like that from Summit Racing a few years ago for my Camaro but when I went to install it I found out I needed a shorter belt and NAPA was closed so it went back in the box.
I forgot all about it until now.

Glad to remind you of your kit!

I like it. I didn't care much for the OEM bracket. I had to use the stock hardware at each heim joint. The one on the water pump I couldn't get started because the pulley was in the way and the other one for the alternator, I didn't have that size allen wrench. Don't worry, I'll eventually get it all swapped out.

I thought it was a good deal at 35 shipped. Especially compared to Zooms or March. They have great stuff, just more than I need.
