Hello everyone, I been lurking around this forum for a few weeks now and thought that it was time to introduce myself. I recently bought a 78 K10 off of a buddy who had to move due to a job relocation, and I have already found this forum to be a wealth of information. My love for these trucks comes from my childhood back in the 80's and early 90's when my dad owned several C series trucks. I have not done much to my truck yet besides replace the seat and clean out a bunch of of wiring and a hacked up radio install from a po, but I have big plans for it in the future. Here are some pics of my truck known as "Big Ugly"

Welcome! I dig the truck...You can get rocker panels on this site!

My buddy that I bought the truck from already had ordered replacement rockers, but never got around to replacing them. However, I think that I am going to find another cab because this one has a great deal of rust from a leaking front windshield. There is rust along the top of the window, the passenger side A pillar and small rust holes in the top of the door frames. Also, it appears the bed sides have been replaced as the rust on them is just surface and the backsides are black primer, but the bed floor is nearly gone. The front fenders have been replaced at one time but both have small rust holes in the bottom. I did make a nice score at a local swap meet this weekend, I got a brand new ds fender and rear wheel well for $30 for both, made my weekend! Oh, the truck is a 350/350/203, and runs like a champ, and has become my dd because the fuel pump went out on my car the day I bought it.
