Title: 87 axles to a 78 k 10

will there be any problem with the swap? if so what? 

my rear end is out, and i found a set of axles for 150 bucks. front and back. Any problem with a swap?

Make sure the ratio's match. Other than that the conversion U-joint should be needed for the companion flange/yoke

the ratio shouldnt be a big deal if im swapping both axles i would assume. i just wasnt sure if there was a different mounting or anything. 

are the spring mounts for the 4 wheel drive 1/2 ton trucks the same between 78 and 87.

well i swapped the axle onto the trucK and the yoke is too wide on the rear end...its reported to be off an 87...whats up
