Title: bolt size for differentials
Post by: BIG CHEVY on March 28, 2010, 12:24:19 pm
just got my 79 k-10 bout a week ago and today is make leaks go away day.   WOOOHOOO!!!!

i have 12 bolt rear and 10 bolt front.      exactly what size are those bolts and do they only hold the plate on or do they serve a higher purpose?    it drips just a tad but im obsessive about leaks in general. whoever had it before me has some ugly zinc lookin bolts in there
and i want the real deals. front and rear.   to me a vehic is only as good as its dependability.  level one of trusting ur ride is
knowing it aint losing fluids ever but especally in driveways where the people look at it when u leave their house and say "man i hope he makes it in that pile".....   help me out,   ill do the work.   thanks.

Its just a aresol can with a tip you tilt to get the stuff out. Its like the cheeze wiz in a can you can buy at the grocery store.
