Title: New to the site from down in the lone star state!!! need some help!!!

Ok yall heres the deal Ive got an 1980 chevy c/10 1/2ton 2wd stepside and the 250 blew up , so now I'm going to put a 350 in its place. So where do i start how hard is this really to do? i want to keep the 3 speed on the floor if i could , would a 350 bolt up to a 3 speed manual trans? and this is my daily driver so kinda have to do this fast.. Any and all help would be great i mean whats the next step after you've found a running 350? thank you guys cant wait to hear what you have to say. HAPPY EASTER!!

The 350 will bolt up. Do a quick search on here to find previous posts about this.

will a 3 speed 6cyl bolt to a v8? i mean bellhousing and all? ive never a v8 swap to tell yall the truth im a student at a local comm. college learning auto body and painting and im about to start there hot rod program.. Im a mopar guy and i got this truck as a parts runner my plymouth duster is my main project for school. I just need as m uch help as yall can give i did a search and found some good info but not enough i feel.

as long as its gm then yes the v6 or strait 6s have the same bolt pattern as v8s BB or Sb. once you get into oldsmobile then the bolt parterns are diffrent then gm

That is a wonderful thing about gm enignes they almost all interchange on the trucks/suvs.
