Title: Power steering hoses
Post by: 82gmc3/4ton on April 06, 2010, 04:45:04 am
I've been in the market for new power steering hoses. What's the difference between standard and optional hoses. This is not for a hydroboost system.

Preferred about 30 inches

Optional about 26.5 inches
besides that i cant help ya but if you look at yours where it mates to the steering box that looks to be the difference the optional looks to mate to the box with the strait while the preferred lookst to mate with the bent part hope that helps or someone else can chime in

That does help! Thank you. I don't have anything to compare it to. I stripped the truck 3 years ago thinking I didn't have to worry about something like this. LOL I'm just now starting putting the steering back together.
