Title: 5.3 engine and tranny

Hey guys this may be another stupid question. I have found a screamin deal on a 5.3 and tranny (not sure what tranny) but it came out of a 2wd. Question is what would I need to put it in my 87 4wd? I know what I need for the engine, such as intake and tbi adapter, but not the tranny. Can it be modified to fit the transfer case? I have an np 205 transfer. Thanks for the help.

You have to completely pull the trans down to convert it to a 4x4 version and then you need an adapter to connect a 205 to it.
