It almost sound like it has a trans brake
reverse must be applying when in drive or 2

Get it to a tranny shop before you kill it completly

no govoner  tubes with from what iv see is what is removed with the valve body has been
changed to a kit i posted above.
there was 1 check ball and a lil spring.
 here are some photos too.
now with the valve body off i can role the truck when in 2nd  and 3rd gear
it was locked up what did i undo and can i just put it back on after cleaning the valve body?
im so lost here but im learning .. so whos got any info.. has the trans been built for racing?
so one last run down of what i have

Why don't you set it up back to normal? Get a new seperator plate and vb gaskets. Get a trans go reprogramming kit and set it up the way you want. Why do you need a manual valve body for your set up?

Thats just it i dont need it. its just what was in the the truck
i got this truck not knowing some one had done all this to it  the guy got it
this way too. he didnt know. so do we just had a bad axx tranny or a crappy one some one made work

ok i just looked at the kit you showed me . not bad and easy to do too.

but what im trying to find is why it locked up in 2nd and 3rd gear before i buy any thing but now that i have
pulled the valve body my truck will roll in 2nd and 3rd gear.. im hoping  the valve body was just stuck.
but when i pulled the valve body i found i missing some parts and dont no why.

i only have 1 check ball and a spring.
the 2 tubes off the valve body are gone.
modulator valve has been removed and a red plug  is filling the hole.
there is no acumulator servo at all in the valve body.
i posted a photo showing every thing that came out of the valve body.

this is every thing that came out..

i hope too clean it all and reinstall it and it work as is.
but i didnt look where the ball and spring were so now im looking for that too.
any one know what and why this trans has been done this way?
and why it locked up in 2nd & 3rd but came free when i removed the valve body?
i'm so not a tranny guy  but i did have 1st and rev before
i removed it it would just lock up if i shifted or tryed to move in 2nd or 3rd

Put it back to stock and get a new seperator plate. Then install the trans-go vb kit. Don'y mix up the two gaskets which people often do and you should be good to go.

dont have the cash for that yet. but im not doing any thing till i know if the trans is trashed now from locking up..
found a stock on close to me. may do that.  i still want to know why and what they did to this thing.
and why there are parts gone.  if its a race trans it should be worth something.

cleaned the valve boy and got a lot of black stuff out of it? whats this stuff fluid was bright red.

Having a modified vehicle means #1 working on it constantly and #2 money. You might be better off selling it if $ is too tight and it's not what you want.
