Hey everyone.  Mark here, a 33 year old self-employed automotive dismantler and avid GM lover. Divorced, one step-daughter (13 years old).

[/move][/move][/move][/move]My first truck in the series was a 79 K20 ($800.00), 350/SM455 which I attached a snowplow to.  I lent it to my ex-wife, her boyfriend blew it up and stuck me with a $250.00 towing bill.  When I went to get it, I realized that the rockers, body mounts and floors were to much for me to handle repairing, so I handed over the title.  :(  I was like 22 years old, and not in any position to handle the job.

My second was an 84 K10 Silverado ($700.00).  Original 305, changed to a 350 by the old owner which ran like crap. I ran the heck out of it for 2 years, but by the time I built a motor for it, the usual chevy rust had taken over, the rear wheel bearings disintegrated, and I gave up.  It then became the parts donor to my latest girlfriend:

"The Lady In Red" - an 86 K10 Custom Deluxe ($200.00 ::)).  Original 305 and a TH350 someone decided to toss into it to replace that dreaded 700R4 over-sized paperweight that never belonged in it to begin with.

Take a look at the pics which I will be posting in a few minutes.  It's unbelievable the deal I got on this neglected, torn and tattered "diamond in the rough"
