Post by: g2bird on April 21, 2010, 05:14:30 pm: Been lurking around for the last month or so, lots of good info and looks like good people. I just bought a 79 stepside and have used you guys for some valuable tips. Just wanted to introduce myself and say thanks. I hope to pic up several more tips, and maybe payback a little as I dig deeper into the truck.

It's actually a 2001 Formula. I have a 76 TA that I am working on too. If Pontiac had made a truck that's what I would have tried to find too, but I needed something to carry around Pontiac parts and the wife frowns on greasy things being in her SUV. >:( Don't ask hw I know. ;D

I've been thinking about that. But parts for the 327 are way cheaper than Poncho parts. If the motor in the truck gives out on me though this will have to be reconsidered. ;)
