I need suggestions on tire sizes... My 87 2wd truck has the standard 15" rally wheels and I see no reason to change them but as for tire size I'm not sure what I want. Could any of you suggest the appropriate size that would give the truck a good look, stance etc? I'm not after the lowest of profiles but generic stock tires look sort of "unsporty". This truck is not lowered nor will it be. Thanks

I liked 235/75/15's on mine.

Those factory rims are 7" wide with factory sized tires.

Ive always liked the look of 235/75s on factory ralleys on these trucks. It just fits right in my opinion. The other sizes look good as well, but Im partial to the stock size tires on stock rims

I've always run 235/75-15's (as shown in the attached pic), but will either go with a 255/70-15 or a 275/60-15 next time. But one thing to consider is that the 235/75 offers TONS of tire choices, whereas the offerings for the other sizes are very limited.
I always consult tirerack.com before making a tire decision. Lots of good comparison info there.

If you dont need a 6 ply rated tire I always recommend 255/70r15s they look good. You cant get the best mileage tire in the world but looks is usually what folks are after.
